Citadel Media announced the addition of several marquee personalities from some of the country’s most successful radio stations to anchor specific dayparts on its 24-hour music formats.
Initial talent includes Jeremy Robinson, who has hosted afternoon and evening time slots for Dallas’ KSCS; Race Taylor of WPLJ fame in New York; and Atlanta’s WKHX morning show host, Cadillac Jack.
The network also announced a deeper consulting partnership with respected industry veteran Mike McVay, who will play an integral role in AC programming for Citadel Media.
“We believe utilizing the talents of these personalities will be a significant enhancement for our affiliates, said John Rosso, President of Citadel Media. “By offering these shows as part of our 24-hour formats on a modular, customized basis, we enable our partners to make choices with greater flexibility that works best for their individual needs.”
Today’s Best Country
Jeremy Robinson and Cadillac Jack are new to Today’s Best Country’s more than 100 affiliates. Robinson entertains audiences for KSCS in Dallas and will now have the opportunity to deliver his fresh, dynamic showmanship to radio listeners across the nation. The Jeremy Show is the biggest party on Country radio live each evening. Also slated for the format’s lineup is Cadillac Jack who wakes up Atlanta Country music fans each morning on WKHX. He is a member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. Cadillac Jack also won an Emmy for hosting the ABC Television special The Road to the CMA Music Festival.
Hot AC
Joining the talent roster for the network’s Hot AC format is Race Taylor, the familiar voice of New York’s WPLJ. Taylor is heard across the country as the current billboard voice for ABC Television’s primetime programming.
AC
Mike McVay, president of McVay Media, will lend his consulting expertise to the network’s AC format to jointly develop new programming targeting key advertiser demographics while refining current AC offerings.
Citadel Media’s 24-hour formats include Classic Rock, Today’s Best Country, Hot AC, Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel, Real Country, The Touch, AC and Classic Hits. Additional talent for the formats will be announced in the coming weeks.
