Recognized as a leading Spanish formats consultant, Luis Villarreal serves as Vice-President for the Hispanic Division of McVay Media. Luis is a 25-year broadcaster with experience as on-air personality, Program Director, Operations Manager, Account Executive, Station Manager, General Manager, and Station Owner.
Luis has programmed in markets including KZTQ/Laredo, KLHB/Corpus Christi, and KQFX/Amarillo, and KXXS/Austin, Texas. He has held Executive positions with Amigo Broadcasting, Rodriguez Communications, and was an officer for Rio Grande Media, Inc, and is the co-developer of Mexico’s first Talk Radio Network (CBC Radio Network)
Luis Villarreal is a contributing writer to Radio & Records and has been invited to speak and sit on expert panels for the NAB, R&R, and The Conclave. He serves as the VP/Hispanic for McVay Media. He consults radio stations in markets all over the USA and in Mexico.
